SPRING AND SUMMER WORKSHOPS 2010

Stephen Ring local Artist and Photographer is embarking on a selection of later afternoon to early evening workshops of the local area.

Focusing on his love of landscape photography and the ever changing coastline Stephen will share his intimate knowledge of the local area as well as his vast experience of light and weather patterns with you and looks forward to sharing his passion.

The workshops are for people of all abilities and experience and gives the opportunity to improve your portfolio seek the help and advice of a professional photographer, as well as developing individual skills, seeking your own vision and above all having some fun!

The workshops will be restricted to 5 people to enable more individual attention and advice if needed. They will run from 4.30 until sunset and will give ample opportunity to make use of the last days light and then hopefully a spectacular sunset.

Westward Ho! Workshops

I have chosen this beach as it has a wealth of endless opportunities to photograph and discover. The relentless weather patterns mean that the structure and the formation of the beach is forever changing and nature carves out a host of wonderful creations. Whilst the moods of the sea and the wild dramatic feeling that comes with it provides an abundance of photographic material and potential.

The two miles of golden sand stretch alongside the famous pebbleridge and are interspersed with glistening rock pools and at low tide remanants of shipwrecks past are revealed.

For me the highlight of many days gone by has been the spectacular sunsets which adorn the night skies like a blanket sweeping the last light of the day.

Stephen Ring offers a selection of photography tours of the local area, including well known beauty spots and the hidden gems that very few people are aware of.All times can be arranged with the clients to fit in with their personal requirements

Hartland Workshops

This wild and rugged coastline of Hartland is a fantastic backdrop for photographic inspiration.

The notoriously distinctive rocks and cliffs are persistently buffeted by the powerful winds which cross the Atlantic Ocean and the forceful waves crash mercilessly around the wonderful coastline.

Surrounding this spectacular setting are meandering valleys, waterfalls and the flora and fauna that frequent the high open cliffs and moorland.

This wonderful setting gives an awe inspiring opportunity to create and develop your own personal style whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery and raw atmosphere.
